The Rakes annonce la sortie pour mars 2009 de "Klang", troisième album du groupe.
"The Album is nearly finished now and we're damn proud of it. Yeah. We've been playing harder and writing better than ever before. The record is raw but focused. We wanted to capture as much as possible the feeling of a band playing together live in a room so we're set up in the main room of the studio huddled around the drum kit at the bottom of some extravagant stairs, once used to create the crazy sound effects for radio plays recorded here. The atmosphere that this place generate is truly unique"
